Leadership Academy

The Kingsbury School Sport Partnership Leadership Academy forms part of the Step into Sport (SIS) programme for young people and is designed to provide high quality support and development for young leaders and volunteers aged 16+. The Leadership Academy is in essence a 'Leadership Club' designed to support and up skill young people that are committed to actively volunteering within their school and/or community setting.

Each secondary school within the partnership has a designated mentor that guides and supports the members of the academy that have been hand picked by their schools. The academy provides support and training to develop the young leaders and also sign posts them to exciting leadership and volunteering opportunities.

With over 100 members already will next be actively engaging our 14+ leaders next academic year, ever increasing our growing numbers that are committed to the SIS programme.
