This gala will also be selection trials for the London Mini Youth Games July 2012. The trials will be 50m events ( not part of the point score) to be  held after the 25 m races and only those who are in the top 6 in the 25m events will be eligible to compete. The only 50m that we may not do is the butterfly and I may use results from 25m. We will do the 50’s only if time permits and therefore results from 25’s will be used to select Youth Games team. If children are serious about 50m events they can hand their times to me before the event. It’s hard work chasing them afterwards.
