Rachel Yankee Cup -Girls Yr 5/6 Football

With thanks to Capital City Academy for providing the astroturf pitches for the Years 5/6 Girls Football event run by Minesh Randeria from Byron Court, the event was a fantastic success even if we were waiting for the sun to show!

There was an attendance of teams from 12 primary schools from within the two Partnerships.

The event was a very succesful day and continued to show the interest that young girls have in football.

St Joseph's have now been Girls Brent Champions for a record 7th time (overtaking Byron Court).

Organiser Minesh said, "Well done to Byron Court and St Robert Southwell for not conceding a goal in the whole competition. Well done also to Uxendon Manor for winning the Sporting Spirit Award - chosen by referees" provided by Capital City Academy's Apprentice's.
